Ink Spots Signed "If I Didn't Care" 1939 10" Single 78 RPM Record Bill Herb Kenny Billy Bowen Charlie Fuqua Autograph
The 10" 78 RPM single "If I Didn't Care" signed on the paper sleeve by Bill Kenny, Herb Kenny, Billy Bowen and Charlie Fuqua in pencil. This record was released in 1939, and was the song that really made the group known. The record shows a number of scratches which would probably affect play. The signatures are believed to have been obtained in New York in early 1946, while the Ink Spots were playing a three month engagement at the Cafe Zanzibar, which was located above the Winter Garden Theater.
