Life Magazine signed on the front cover by Charles Manson (adding "Lie" and a swastika through his signature) in black ballpoint or biro pen. This is the complete issue of December 19, 1969, which featured a cover story of the Manson trial then unfolding. This iconic cover photo may be the most well-known image of Manson. Signed photos of Manson are practically non-existent, as he made it a practice, once he gained infamy, of not signing photos of himself. This signature was acquired by a gentleman who was at that time associated with the "Family" at the Spahn ranch. I will choose not to print his name here, but will discuss more details to those seriously interested. It was obtained at the Corcoran State Prison in California. The magazine shows some signs of wear, but is completely intact and in overall very good shape. Inset photo shows part of article contained within. I have two other items signed by Manson (as well as four other prominent family members) listed on my site, a bible in this same section, and a Beatles White Album in the "signed records" section.
