This "We Are The World" album has been signed by almost everyone involved in this project. Signed in silver pen are Bruce Springsteen, Michael Jackson and siblings LaToya, Marlon, Jackie and Randy, and James Ingram. Other signatures on the album include Bob Dylan, Billy Joel, Darryl Hall, John Oates, Bette Midler, Willie Nelson, Kenny Rogers, Anita, Ruth and June Pointer, Harry Belafonte, Paul Simon, Kenny Loggins, Dan Aykroyd, Prince, Kim Carnes, Dionne Warwick, Huey Lewis, Quincy Jones, Shelia E (adding "Peace" and written backwards), Bob Geldorf, Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder (with the help of his manager) and Ray Charles (with the assistance of his personal assistant). This had been owned by a music industry executive, and is believed to have been signed for a charity auction. The cover and vinyl are in excellent shape. Prince, who signed the record, did not make it to the recording session, but donated a track to the album, and was involved in a performance of the song that year at the Apollo Theater. Hard to imagine a more impressive lineup of music stars signed on one record.
