150+ baseball autographs, almost all on 3" x 5" file cards. These were obtained by veteran collector Tom Grafton in the early to mid 1970's. Many were obtained through the mail. Besides many players that go back to the 1930's, there are also some Negro League stars. Some of the names here include Bill Terry, Early Wynn, Burleigh Grimes, Charlie Gehringer, Hank Aaron, Judy Johnson, Rube Marquard, Dom DiMaggio, Bill Dickey, Jocko Conlon, Tommy Henrich, Monte Irvin, Buck Leonard, Brooks Robinson, Joe Wood, Ralph Kiner, Fred Lynn, Toby Harrah, Fred Fitzsimmons, Bill Skowron, Dizzy Dean, Goose Goslin, Lloyd Waner, Carl Hubbel, Harry Hooper, Del Ennis, Cool Papa Bell and many more. There are many duplicate signatures, I would guess there are at least 100 different signatures. Some cards are blank on both sides, some are lined on one side. Some are signed on the lined side, some have 2 signatures on the same card. They are signed in both ballpoint and felt tip pen. Most of the felt tip ones are the old Flair felt tip writing pen. I don't believe any cards have any bends or creases. A few have adhesive stains on the back. A few are on scraps of paper, about the same size as the file cards. One group are on smaller and odder sized pieces, that were once taped or glued in a scrapbook, and were cut to fit. The one scan shows almost all that are among that group. The remaining signatures are on file cards, or paper about that same size. A great collection of vintage baseball signatures.
